LASER & DRY ICE CLEANING · ON-SITE SERVICE

Light does the cleaning. The metal is never touched.

We remove rust, paint, grease and soot from aircraft and vessels. Two abrasive-free technologies: we pick the one the part calls for, and you never handle sand or grit.

The three benefits

Three reasons a shop moves from sandblasting to laser, in that order.

BENEFIT 01

No damage

No contact, no abrasion. It does not wear the metal, does not deform thin aircraft aluminium and holds tolerances.

  • No measurable loss of thickness
  • Composites and anodised finishes
  • Test patch before we operate
BENEFIT 02

No grit to clear

No sand, no grit, no strippers, no sludge. With laser the output is dust into the filter; with dry ice the pellet sublimates and only the removed coating is left to collect.

  • Zero abrasive to dispose of
  • No containment enclosure
  • Other crews keep working nearby
BENEFIT 03

Less downtime, less disposal

The cost is not the machine hour, it is the shutdown and the hazardous waste. Less preparation, less masking and fewer hours with the line stopped.

  • No hazardous waste handling
  • Minimal masking
  • Zone by zone, no full shutdown
02

Two technologies

Neither one touches the part with abrasive. We choose by contaminant, substrate and whether the equipment can be taken apart.

Laser cleaning
TECHNOLOGY 01

Laser cleaning

The laser pulse is absorbed by the coating being removed, not by the metal underneath. Layer-by-layer control and no blast media.

BEST FOR
  • Rust and corrosion on steel
  • Selective paint stripping
  • Welds, tooling and moulds
  • Paint-ready surface prep
Dry ice (CO₂)
TECHNOLOGY 02

Dry ice (CO₂)

CO₂ pellets that sublimate on impact: they lift grease and organic residue and then disappear. No water, no solvent, no media to collect.

BEST FOR
  • Grease, oil and carbon build-up
  • Electrical gear without teardown
  • Moulds and lines in production
  • No water, no solvents

Dry ice needs ventilation: CO₂ displaces oxygen in a confined space. We bring extraction and check the area before starting.

03

Specialties

Two sectors with their own substrate, procedure and documentation requirements.

Aeronautics GANTRY LASER SYSTEM
SPECIALTY 01

Aeronautics

Paint stripping that leaves aluminium and composites untouched. Selective, layer-by-layer cleaning: the topcoat comes off and the primer stays if the procedure calls for it. No full-aircraft masking.

Marine

Rust and fouling on hulls, decks and structure. Paint-ready surface preparation, without the containment enclosure sandblasting requires.

How it works

Four steps. None of them starts before a test patch on your own part.

  1. On-site assessment

We visit the facility, measure the coating to remove and run a test on a sacrificial area.

  2. Process and parameters

We decide laser, dry ice or both. Power, frequency and passes are set per substrate and recorded so the result repeats.

  3. Execution

We work with filtered extraction at the point of contact. Confined area, no enclosure, no full shutdown.

  4. Inspection and report

Surface verification plus a record of parameters, area treated and hours on site.

05

Laser, dry ice and sandblasting

The same surface-preparation job, three processes with very different consequences for the substrate, the facility and the budget.

Effect on substrate No measurable thickness loss No wear; watch thermal shock Wear; deforms thin aluminium
Waste generated Dust only, extracted and filtered The removed layer only; CO₂ sublimates Spent sand, grit and sludge
Containment Confined area, no enclosure Confined area; ventilation required Containment enclosure
Masking Minimal. Zone by zone Minimal Full masking
Consumables None Dry ice pellets Abrasive, filters, nozzles
Layer selectivity Layer by layer, tunable Surface layer All or nothing
3-year cost Lower: no abrasive, no disposal Moderate: pellets only Higher: consumable + disposal
